Our Data Sources

TRADExperts applies ethical standards in data gathering and collection of information from various sources.

We collect data from six categories of dependable sources which added together, forms thousands of individual data sources to produce structured and unstructured data for processing.

1. Data Scraping

This is also known as web crawling. We scrape the web to extract structured data using our custom scripts and proprietary programming tools.

2. Data Licensing

A dataset may be licensed to us by special request as a legal agreement through contract terms between TRADExperts and our data suppliers.

3. Data Unions

We source from these networks of data collectors which host apps and programs where interested participants can opt-in to monetize their data.

4. Public Websites

They are 3rd party public data sources e.g. job recruitment sites with volunteered data which we use to verify or enrich our existing datasets.

5. Free Apps

Some of our datasets are derived from various free web and mobile apps where users' consent to data usage or exchange for value-added services.

6. Cookie Policies

Among our reliable sources of data are the growing number of websites using cookies to get users' consent to collect their data for marketing.

By adhering to international data laws such as California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we ensure that all our current data sources are also compliant with the above-named data regulations and other regional data legislations and requirements.

Future Data Sources

We also plan to expand our data gathering through the following reliable sources:

1. Online Marketplaces
2. Search Engines
3. Social Media
4. Science Libraries
5. Historical Databases
6. Government Records
